Consultation on the legislative proposals for Energy Licence Modifications and Appeals The Department has published a consultation paper setting out the Department’s legislative proposals for changes to the gas and electricity licence modification and appeals process.
The consultation paper attaches draft Regulations to effect the necessary changes to the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 and the Gas (Northern Ireland) 1996 and also addresses amendments proposed to the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013.
The paper also addresses the outcome of the previous policy consultation on this issue which was published in July 2012 and closed in October 2012.
